This is a great prodcut for the price, for you can dilute it down to any strength you would like and it works miracles on age spots plus lessening fine lines and wrinkles.

This product works but the reason I gave it a 1 star is because it should not be for home use. I put about 2 thin layers of this on my tummy to make less noticeable the stretch marks. The area turned purple then burned. Burn scars remain on my tummy a year and a half after I first put it on. It's just too strong. You may be left with burn marks for many many months. If you're going to do any type of TCA peel on any noticeable part of your body, start with less than 25% and then only do 1 layer. For instance, I did just that for my hands with another tca peel about 20%. They looked marvelous afterwards but the results are only temporary. You have to keep using this stuff to maintain that look. One of the biggest things I don't like about TCA peels is the down time. There is no way you'll want to go out in public with your skin looking like that. And the downtime runs about a week minimum. You will literally look as if you've been burned. Some other healthier less drastic peels are the AHA, lactic acid and salicylic acid. I would only do the TCA if my skin was extremely rough, pock marked, deeply hyperpigmented and I was on LOA from work.

I mixed this with half water for the first use and only got a mild sloughing, but the next time, I used it at about 80% strength. Wow! did my face ever peel. It took about three weeks for it to completely peel and I looked like frankenstein for awhile, but results were worthwhile. I have had dermatologists' peels at a huge expense and this was just as good for much less. You have to be sensible and use caution or you could receive a bad burn, but used with caution, I am very pleased with product.
